Bjoerndalen di un altro pianeta nella sprint di Oestersund. Pallhuber 38°

Ole Einar Bjoerndalen si conferma in condizioni strepitose e vince anche la sprint di Oestersund, seconda tappa della Coppa del mondo di biathlon. Il suopercampione norvegese, impostosi giovedì nell'individuale, ha concesso il bis con il consueto dominio sugli sci stretti che hanno sopperito ad un errore al poligono. Il tempo totale di Bjoerndalen è stato di 24'16"2, quanto basta per precedere il russo Dmitri Iarochenko, giunto al traguardo con 15"5 di ritardo. Terzo Michael Greis a 17"2.

Lontani i cinque azzurri che hanno preso il via. Wilfried Pallhuber è finito trentottesimo con 2 errori, Renè Laurent Vuillermoz cinquantaquattresimo con 4 errori, Markus Windisch sessantatreesimo, Christian De Lorenzi settantottesimo e Stefan Zingerle novantanovesimo.
